Job description

As a head chef at a Japanese seafood izakaya, you will be responsible for the following duties.

Cooking all kinds of Japanese cuisine (sashimi, grilled dishes, fried dishes, boiled dishes, preparation, etc.)

Instructing and training cooking assistant staff

Overall hygiene and quality control in the kitchen

Food ordering and inventory management

Supporting simple plating and washing areas

*Those who can manage food inventory

*This restaurant is also popular with foreign tourists. Those who can communicate in simple English are welcome!

<Qualifications>
3+ years of experience in Japanese cuisine cooking (experience in izakaya, traditional Japanese restaurants, inns, etc. welcome)

Experience as a leader or instructor in the kitchen

Persons who value hygiene management and teamwork

Able to fillet fish and have a chef's license

Spouse/Long-term resident/Permanent resident visa holder

Able to provide basic customer service in English

Work in a lively tourist area!

<Working hours>
12:00-24:00 (shift system)
8 hours or more actual work
Breaks available
Shift negotiations OK (e.g., 5 days a week full-time/mainly on weekends, etc.)

<Salary>
Monthly salary: 350,000 yen-430,000 yen (preferential treatment based on experience and ability)
Probationary period (no change in conditions)
