Salary

Monthly salary: ¥245,000 - ¥265,000 (determined based on experience and job type)
Breakdown: Base salary: ¥200,000 - ¥220,000
Special ability allowance: ¥30,000
Regional allowance: ¥25,000
*Separate allowances include a position allowance (up to ¥55,000) and a registered salesperson allowance (up to ¥30,000)

Job Description

You will be responsible for sales, customer service, and interpretation duties at a permanent duty-free store frequented by many international tourists.

This is a workplace where you can utilize your language skills, primarily in Chinese.

● Customer service and interpretation services utilizing language skills (Chinese and Japanese)
● Stable, full-time employment in the tourist destination of Kyoto
● International work environment with a multilingual team

● You can also acquire specialized skills such as cashiering and tax-free procedures.

Product sales (cosmetics, health foods, general merchandise, home appliances, alcohol, etc.)
Customer service (Japanese and Chinese)
Cashier accounting, tax-free procedures including passport scanning
Stock replenishing, displaying, and packaging
General store operations support duties

Qualifications

[Required]
Ability to serve customers in Chinese (Mandarin)
Japanese language proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) equivalent to or above the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N3
Work-eligible residence status (eligible for a foreign national visa)

Preferred Requirements

Practical experience in customer service or sales (part-time work is acceptable)
Able to provide cheerful and courteous service
Enjoy working in a multilingual and multicultural environment

Currently, the majority of staff are in their 40s (depending on the company's age distribution).
