Job in Cleaning Service

This job involves cleaning the interiors of Tokaido Shinkansen trains arriving at Tokyo Station. The goal is to complete the cleaning in just 10 minutes, providing passengers with a comfortable environment. Teamwork is essential to clean a 16-car Shinkansen within the allotted time.


[Employment Type]
Contract Employee
- Two-month initial contract, then renewed annually from April or October, subject to adjustment.
- Opportunity for full-time employment.

[Residence Status]
Due to the nature of the cleaning work, only applicants with the following residence statuses are eligible.

* Permanent Resident, Long-Term Resident, Spouse of a Japanese National
* Spouse of a Permanent Resident

[Japanese Language Proficiency]
* Conversational Japanese (equivalent to N3 or higher)
* Ability to read and write Hiragana and Katakana

[Work Location]
Within JR Tokyo Station

[Job Description]
Cleaning of Tokaido Shinkansen trains at Tokyo Station
* Greeting passengers disembarking
* Collecting trash inside the train
* Rotating seats
* Checking if seats are wet
* Mopping the floor, etc.

[Working Hours]
* 7:30 - 16:00
* 7:40 - 16:10
* 7:50 - 16:20 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
12:05 PM - 8:35 PM 12:40 PM - 9:10 PM
12:50 PM - 9:20 PM 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
All shifts consist of 7 hours and 30 minutes of actual work, with a 1-hour break.
*Work is on a shift system, and you will be required to work all of the above shifts.
*Overtime is rare.
*This is a full-time position.

[Holidays]
114 days per year, 9-10 days per month
*Depending on the shift, you may work on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

[Leave]
*Annual leave: 10 days granted after 6 months of service.
*Other leave available.

[Salary]
Daily wage: 11,650 yen
*Paid in a lump sum on the 20th of the following month, based on the end of the month's closing date.
*No daily or advance payments.
*Monthly salary varies depending on the number of working days per month.

Example Monthly Income (Based on 21 working days per month):
　　　　11,650 yen x 21 days = 244,650 yen
・Bonus: Twice a year (according to company regulations)
・Transportation Allowance (Up to 50,000 yen per month for routes designated by the company)
