How to deposit funds for transfer?

You would need to complete the following steps to complete your profile and proceed with depositing funds for transfer:

  1. Enter your name exactly as it appears on your valid ID. Remitly will also ask for your phone number and address.
  2. Next, enter your date of birth. It’s important that you enter your correct birthdate as it appears on your identification, because
Remitly may need that information to verify your identity later.
  3. Proceed to choose how you’d like to pay for your transfer. Enter your bank account information, your credit or debit card
information, or the details of another payment method. Your payment options may vary depending on where you’re sending
from, and you can always update your payment method for future transfers.

How to choose options for payout at recipient's end?

  2. Select Get Started on the app or Send money if you’re using your web browser.
  3. Enter the amount you’d like to send. Remitly will automatically display the amount your recipient will receive in their local
    currency.
  4. Next, choose a delivery method.
  5. If you selected Bank Deposit as your delivery method, you’ll need to enter some information about your recipient’s bank
account. If you selected Cash Pickup, Remitly will ask you to choose a pickup location that’s convenient for your recipient. If you
chose a different delivery option, Remitly might ask for their email address or other details.
  6. Now it’s time to enter information about your recipient. Remitly will ask for their name and — if you’d like to notify them when
